Why WVU Medicine: I chose WVU Medicine for my PGY2 Oncology Pharmacy Residency because I was looking for a program that combines outstanding clinical training with a supportive learning environment. The opportunity to gain experience in both adult and pediatric oncology, work alongside knowledgeable and approachable preceptors, and be part of a multidisciplinary team made the program an easy choice. During my interview, I was impressed by how invested the leadership and preceptors were in each resident's success, both professionally and personally. It was clear that this is a place where residents are encouraged to grow, build confidence, and continually challenge themselves. I am grateful to be training in a program that is helping me become a well-rounded oncology pharmacist while making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.
