Why WVU Medicine:
WVU Medicine offers various ambulatory care rotations from primary care to all the different specialty clinics. I am also passionate about teaching, so being close to the pharmacy school and the opportunities to precept students are a big draw for me. Also, the ambulatory care pharmacist's presence in WVU Medicine has rapidly expanded over the past few years. Although the program is relatively new, all the preceptors are very caring, and they really tailor it to my interest.
