Why WVU Medicine:
I chose to pursue WVU Medicine for an HSPAL residency because of how intentional our healthcare leaders were when building this program. There are endless opportunities to advance as a clinician and leader in healthcare practicing at an academic medical center that provides the highest level of care across the state. The passion of our preceptors and a multidisciplinary learning environment provide a variety of unique clinical and administrative learning experiences. The culture of the program and pharmacy team is one that I was enthusiastic to join! I am confident that my time at WVU Medicine will absolutely allow me to develop a skillset to be an effective healthcare leader and advocate.
