Why WVU Medicine:
As a former student of the WVU SoP, I was given the opportunity to work with a variety of pharmacists and leaders within the WVU Health System as a pharmacy student. These pharmacists challenged me to think critically to positively impact patient outcomes, enhance my knowledge, all while providing a support environment for me to learn. I wanted to continue to learn and grow from a community with the expertise and passion my preceptors showed. WVU medicine has a diverse patient population and elective learning experiences that has allowed me to personalize my educational experience and gain additional exposure, training, and first-hand experience in the areas I’m in most interested in.
