The 112th Annual West Virginia Pharmacists Association (WVPA) Convention was held in Charleston, West Virginia, October 19-20 and two West Virginia University School of Pharmacy Alumni received awards.
Michael LeMasters (PharmD, `06) was given the Generation Rx Champion's Award for his efforts at prevention of drug abuse and diversion.
David Bowyer (BSPharm, `84) was given the Dr. James H. Beal Award in recognition of his meritorious services in futhering the profession of pharmacy in West Virginia.
Presenting the awards is WVPA President Ken Reed (BSPharm, `92).
