On Friday, March 25, Brian Lawson (PharmD,' 08) returned to the West Virginia University School of Pharmacy to serve as the 2022 Lois A. Luzzi Lectureship keynote speaker. Lawson's presentation "Cultivating an Inclusive Culture Through Courageous Leadership" touched on self-awareness, advocating for yourself and others, courageous leadership and adopting an inclusive mindset, among other topics.
"Think about how to bring more people into the fold within your personal and professional spheres," said Lawson. "It will serve you to get a different perspective and lead you to make good decisions on behalf of others."
The Luzzi Lecture was held at the Health Sciences Center Okey Patteson Auditorium. Lawson is the Associate Executive Director of the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in Washington, D.C. The Louis A. Luzzi Lecture was hosted by the Alpha ETA Chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma.
