Fall 2018 Admissions Cycle

High School students are encouraged to focus on the sciences, including higher mathematics, in order to prepare for pre-pharmacy coursework.

Pre-pharmacy courses may be completed at any accredited institution with coursework recognized by West Virginia University. For admission consideration, student must complete:
 

3-4 credit hours of calculus

4 credit hours of physiology

3-4 credit hours of biochemistry

3-4 credit hours of microbiology

6 credit hours of English composition

3 credit hours of public speaking

1 credit hour of first year seminar or equivalent

NOTE: Students at WVU are also required to take University WVUE 191 to complete degree requirements.

9 credit hours of electives satisfying WVU's liberal studies or GEF requirements.
