What motivated you to pursue a career in pharmacy?

My father was diagnosed with motor neuron disease. My mother and I spent a lot of time going to the pharmacy and picking up his medications and our own. When my art teacher suggested a career in pharmacy, I realized how much of a positive impact pharmacists had made in my life, and I aspire to be like them.

How has your experience at the WVU School of Pharmacy prepared you for your future career?

I have been able to hone my leadership skills and network through the many student organizations at the WVU SOP.

Is there a professor at the School of Pharmacy who has significantly influenced your journey? How did they make an impact?

While not a professor, Jenn Clutter, and advisor at the SoP, has made a substantial impact on me. Her continual support, along with Dr. Euler's, helped me make it through some of the tougher moments I had during pharmacy school.

As you prepare to leave, what will you miss most about your time at the School of Pharmacy?

The friends that I have made.
