West Virginia University will celebrate Global Health Week 2020 from Monday, Oct. 19 through Friday, Oct. 23.

Sponsored by the WVU Global Health Program, six lectures will be offered via Zoom throughout the week. The lectures are open to everyone, including faculty, residents, fellows, students, staff and the Morgantown community.

“If we’ve learned anything from this current COVID-19 pandemic, it’s how interconnected our world is and how an event in one region of the world can certainly impact our own region,” said Rebecca Reece, MD, Associate Director of the Global Health Program.

“It’s imperative that our students have access to an education that encompasses that globalization and exposes them to areas of health outside of our own walls.”

Each of the following lectures are scheduled from noon to 12:50 p.m. To join, use Zoom Meeting ID 98318599290. No pre-registration is required. Lectures will be recorded for those who are unable to watch live.
