The WVU School of Medicine Committee for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion invites all members of the Health Sciences community to attend “Inclusive Language Training for Healthcare Environments.” The free training opportunity will be offered via Zoom on Tuesday, April 12, at 4 p.m.
Led by Center for Excellence in Disabilities Training Specialist Courtney Lanham, MSW, this workshop builds on the concept of inclusive language for an audience engaged in healthcare, including healthcare education, clinical practice and research. All members of the WVU Health Sciences community are welcome to attend.
