Members of the Alpha Eta Chapter of Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS) participated in the 15th annual Polar Plunge this weekend (Saturday, Feb. 23) to raise money for Special Olympics West Virginia. Associate Professor Werner Geldenhuys and Assistant Professor Marina Galvez Peralta braved the cold water as well. The Plunge took place in the frigid waters of the Cheat Lake.

PLS exceeded its goal of raising $1500. Together with pharmacists from WVU Medicine, they raised $2,140. You can view a photo gallery of the event on the School's SmugMug account.
