Kappa Psi nationally partners with Reach Out and Read which partners with physicians’ offices nationally to provide books for children. As we know reading to children within the first few years of their lives is imperative for their brain development. The WVU Pediatric and Adolescent practice at University Town Centre partners with Reach Out and Read. During each visit the physician can give a book to the child to read and take home. Our Kappa Psi chapter is now collecting books to donate locally to Reach Out and Read. If you are cleaning out your children’s books for the new school year please consider donating to Reach Out and Read.
