Dr. Suresh Madhavan, Chairman of the WVU School of Pharmacy's Department of Pharmaceutical Systems and Policy, will be leaving his position June 1.

Madhavan has accepted a new position as Dean of the University of North Texas System College of Pharmacy.

Madhavan has been a loyal faculty member with WVU since 1988. He guided the School's Department of Pharmaceutical Systems and Policy for over 25 years as an outstanding Chair. During that time, he has received numerous awards, including the 2018 American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy Paul R. Dawson Award for Excellence in Patient Care Research.   

Madhavan has led many efforts to improve the School and its programs during his time at WVU, both here and internationally, as well as having a major impact on the State's approach to drug therapy.
