APhA CEO Tom Menighan, (BSPharm,'74) MBA, ScD, delivered remarks to APhA 2019 Opening General Session attendees in Seattle on March 23.
“My flight path as your CEO is on course for a successful landing in 2020,” he told the crowd, his voice tinged with emotion as he shared that he will retire from his position at APhA summer 2020. “I love this organization. I’m committed to helping the [APhA Board of Trustees] to find the most excellent and outstanding new leader.” The search for Menighan’s successor will begin in April 2019.
“I live my life with gratitude and in service of this profession. It’s been an honor and privilege to work for you,” Menighan said. His remarks were met with a standing ovation.
