Shared network drives at HSC may be intermittently unavailable from 8 to 10 p.m. on April 20, 21, and 22 while ITS migrates data to a more advanced and durable storage system as part of a planned upgrade.
You do not need to take action, however, there is a minor risk that some network drive access paths may break and need to be remapped or corrected. Disruptions are expected to be few and are most likely to affect machines that have been manually configured, rather than set up by ITS.

This work is being performed as part of broader efforts to standardize the file sharing environment at the Health Sciences Center. These improvements will support migration to modern infrastructure, enable increased automation, enhance the level of service ITS can provide, and make data easier to manage and protect.
