ABOUT US

The Office of Research and Graduate Programs fosters the growth of research activities and training in the School of Pharmacy.
 
  • The office is the administrative home for the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences, which is the largest biomedical Ph.D. program at WVU. 

  • The office also provides infrastructure support and training to facilitate extramural funding activities in the School, which is at a historic high. 

  • Resources to facilitate the efforts of undergraduate and pharmacy students to engage in research with faculty in the school are also coordinated through the office.

  • In addition, the office provides newsletters and other reports to keep faculty, staff, students, alumni and other friends updated about notable activities and achievements. 

  • The “More About…” community outreach series is also coordinated through the office and aims to keep the citizens of West Virginia informed about medication-related topics to help improve their health.
