Why WVU Medicine: I chose to pursue a residency at WVU Medicine for two main reasons: the culture and the opportunity. Even during the application process, the amazing culture within the institution was clear. Not only will residents be supported by the pharmacy staff but by every member of this institution. In addition to professional support, the pharmacy staff at WVU takes interest in each resident’s personal well-being and growth. WVU Medicine offers limitless opportunities for learning, development, and professional involvement in an environment that is conducive for growth both for the resident and the institution as a whole. The WVU Medicine pharmacy residency offers residents the unique opportunity to learn and grow congruently with an institution that is doing the same.
