Event planned for March 28
Tickets are now available for the West Virginia University School of Dentistry Delta Sigma Delta Chi Chi Chapter annual elimination dinner to support the Drs. Graves/Dye/Chaudhry Smile Fund. This year’s event will take place Saturday, March 28, at 5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus in Star City.
Throughout the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in games, gift basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing leading up to the final elimination ticket holder winning a $1,000 grand prize. Dr. Tyler Brown, clinical assistant professor and “Wheel of Fortune” winner, will serve as host for the evening.
Tickets are available for $50 each and include dinner and one entry in the elimination drawing. To purchase tickets, payment is accepted via Venmo at @WVUSoDDelts or by contacting a member of the student organization. The group is also accepting gift basket donations.
The Smile Fund was established by the Chi Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Delta, an international dental service fraternity, to assist qualifying low-income WVU Dental patients with treatment costs to avoid the financial burden that can lead to patients ending their treatment plans. WVU Dental is the clinical practice component of WVU School of Dentistry offering comprehensive general dentistry and specialized treatment by faculty, resident and student dentists.
For questions or additional information, contact Dr. Lora Graves, associate professor, or Dr. Brown.
Gifts to the WVU School of Dentistry are made through the WVU Foundation, the nonprofit organization that receives and administers private donations on behalf of the University.
