Pharmacists are required to obtain 2 hours of continuing education related to controlled substance and drug diversion as defined in WVHB 4037 beginning July 1, 2013. These 3 hours will be required each reporting period and will meet the controlled substance and drug diversion criteria established by the West Virginia legislature. These 2 hours can be attained in a live format, or an online format, but must meet the criteria established. Below is a list of approved WV Drug Diversion Trainings through WVU School of Pharmacy. If one attended any of these sessions a WV Board of Pharmacy Drug Diversion number is required for relicensure. This WV BoP Drug Diversion number is different from the ACPE Universal Activity Number associated with an activity.
