BIOSKETCH
Jay Martello, Pharm.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor at West Virginia University School of Pharmacy, and a Clinical Specialist in Internal Medicine at West Virginia University Hospitals. He earned his Pharm.D. degree from Duquesne University in 2008, and subsequently completed a PGY-1 and PGY-2 Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and West Virginia University, respectively. Dr. Martello serves on several hospital committees and is a preceptor for residents on their internal medicine rotation. His practice interests focus on pharmacy education, pharmacoeconomics, general internal medicine, and the impact of pharmacists in acute care settings.
