WVU Cancer Institute will sponsor a talk on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and intersex (LGBTQI) patient care on January 9, 2018, from 12 to 1 p.m., in the 1905 HSC-N Learning Center Classroom. Mandi Pratt-Chapman, MA, associate center director, patient-centered initiatives and health equity for the George Washington Cancer Center, will present What You Should (and Want) to Know About Your LGBTQI Patients. Chapman’s personal mission is to make evidence-based cancer control strategies available to more people as quickly as possible. Her research focuses on patient navigation, cancer survivorship and health equity for LGBTQI communities.
